HEART HIM
I wrote this newsletter blog 9 years ago this month. As I reflected on it, the LORD told me to release it to you today. So, for those of you who may have seen this before, see it as a reminder, and for those of you who see this for the first time, I pray you see it as an encouragement. Stay blessed.
Sometimes our hearts are overwhelmed with worry, anxiety and stress about our life in the events of this world. But Jesus is telling us clearly, don't let our hearts be distressed, if we believe and trust in our heavenly Father, we should also trust Jesus. He will give us the comfort, joy and peace in our hearts when the situations all around us may be chaotic. The faith in knowing that when you trust God with all your heart, he will keep you in perfect peace.
Blessings,
You may or may not know this, but, I’m excited to share that I’ve recently become a Certified Women’s Fitness Specialist! It’s been such a blessing to be able to coach women of God on their health journey, focusing on taking care of our bodies from the inside out. God has truly blessed me with the opportunity to expand my vocabulary of movement, and I’m honored to educate women with biblical and practical ways to strengthen their bodies, nurture their health, and honor God through it all.
Since February is National Heart Month, I just wanted to take a moment to encourage you all to keep taking care of yourselves. Your health is your wealth, your health is so important, and so is your heart. You deserve to feel strong, healthy and well both inside and out.
So, here are some healthy heart tips to get you pumped up this month. Let’s keep moving forward, loving laughing and living well.
1. Laughter is a natural heart booster
Scripture: "A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." -Proverbs 17:22
Fun Fact: Laughter actually helps improve blood flow and can lower stress, both of which are good for your heart.
Practical Tip: Find something that makes you laugh every day—whether it's a funny show, a joke, or a silly moment with family or friends. Laughter is like a mini workout for your heart!
2. Walking can be a powerful heart workout
Scripture: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
-2 Corinthians 5:7
Fun Fact: Walking just 30 minutes a day can improve your heart health, lower blood pressure, and help you maintain a healthy weight.
Practical Tip: Start with short walks around your neighborhood or office. Walking with friends or listening to your favorite music can make it feel less like exercise and more like fun! Check out this video,
